YEREVAN, JULY 16, ARMENPRESS. The newly published book “Genocide after Genocide” can become a weapon through which it will be possible to struggle against the genocide of the cultural monuments realized in Turkey. As Armenpress reports, Samvel Karapetyan – head of the Foundation for Research on Armenian Architecture informed this during the presentation of the book on July 16.

“The work, created by us, aims to inform Armenians and the people of the world about the genocide towards our own monuments in our historical homeland. We thus tear off the Turks’ mask or at least should try to do so by voicing the crimes committed,” Samvel Karapetyan said. He stressed in his speech that the Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia Narek Sargsyan, the Ministry of Culture, the company “Monarch” and Hayastan fund greatly contributed to the creation of the comprehensive volume. 32 of the monuments included in the book are exhibited in a mobile exhibition. The next stops of the exhibition are Yerevan and Brussels.
